About us
Green Power Investment s.r.o., (GPI) is a renewable energy company with a focus on solar energy and hydrogen. Our activities include development, design, construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants in the EU and non-EU countries.
We have been operating on the market since 2010 and we are developing our activities mainly in the Balkan countries, we have successfully implemented photovoltaic parks in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. GPI has currently completed the first 1 MWp rooftop solar power plant in Serbia.
Since its establishment, the Group has completed over thirty projects with a total installed capacity of over 120 MW, of which 15 solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 25 MW have been completed and connected in Hungary so far. We are currently preparing several dozen photovoltaic parks representing an installed capacity of approximately 500 MW. The Group’s business strategy is not only to design and build PV parks but also to own and operate them. The company sees its future not only in solar energy but is also interested in other opportunities in the field of renewable energy, primarily in the interconnection of photovoltaics with battery storage, hydrogen production and distribution.

We implement modern technologies in our designs with an efficiency guarantee of up to 30 years and a warranty against manufacturing defects of up to 15 years. We work with classic monocrystalline panels, Half-cell, N-Type, Bifacial technology.

Inverters
We recommend installing HUAWEI technology on our projects. These inverters are characterized by high quality, very low failure rate and excellent service. It is possible to purchase an extended warranty as well.

Substations
In the context of HV technology, we are inclined to use the combination of an inverter and a HUAWEI transformer, so we recommend a transformer from the same manufacturer alongside the HUAWEI inverter. The advantage of this solution is the savings on cabling and seamless communication.

Construction
For our photovoltaic power plant designs we use freestanding structures mainly standing on one leg, bifacial panel design systems and single axis tracker design systems. All construction features high corrosion resistance with Magnelis coating.
